Lothenbach Stables’ homebred Charlie’s Penny pulled off a 9-1 upset in the Silverbulletday Stakes Jan. 16 at Fair Grounds Race Course. The Silverbulletday is the first leg of the track’s series on the Road to the Kentucky Oaks.
