Trainer Wesley Ward went to $2.2 million for a Gun Runner colt and full brother to 2022 Preakness Stakes (G1) winner Early Voting during the Sept. 9 second session of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale. The colt was bred by Three Chimneys Farm.
