Hip 218 topped the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga sale at $4.1M to Coolmore and White Birch Farm. Boyd Browning credited the record-shattering sale to the team’s hard work, expressing gratitude for their role in its success.

This year’s edition of Fasig-Tipton’s The Saratoga Sale not only set records, it smashed them. The sale saw 160 yearlings sell for $100,715,000, up 23% from last year’s gross. Average spiked 18% to $629,469 and median improved 5.9% to $450,000. 

Mike Repole went to $1,025,000 to acquire a half sister to Seize the Grey, by first-crop yearling sire Life Is Good, out of the Mill Ridge Sales consignment Aug. 5 at The Saratoga Sale, Fasig-Tipton’s select yearling sale.
