Irish racing will welcome back sizeable crowds for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began, when 4,000 people will be permitted to attend each day of the Longines Irish Champions Weekend fixture.

Bill and Corinne Heiligbrodt’s Yaupon, winner of the Aug. 28 Forego Stakes (G1) at Saratoga Race Course, will stand at Spendthrift Farm for the 2022 breeding season. The son of Uncle Mo is being aimed for the Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1) at Del Mar.
